Reeds

About my reed making:

I begin my reed making with Charles brand gouged cane. I profile each piece to my specific specifications on my MD profiler. Each piece of cane is then shaped, formed, coated with beeswax, and wrapped. I cut my tips at 27mm from the collar (producing reeds about 54-56 mm in total length), tip profile with my MD tip profiler, and finally hand finish the rest of the reed. I then test each reed for stability, intonation, and tone quality. 

If you happen to have a beeswax allergy or any allergies I should be aware of, please reach out and I would be happy to help accommodate! These reeds do come from a home with a cat, but no reed that is sent out will have come into contact with my cat.

• Colors available for wrapping: dark green, light blue, blue/white, turquoise, red, gold, pink, rainbow, white, or no wrapping if desired

• Blanks are $15*

• Finished Reeds are $25*

• Reeds/blanks will be mailed out/delivered to you within a week after ordering

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

As reeds are objects that we put into our mouths, I cannot accept any returns. If the reeds arrive damaged or do not arrive at all, I would be happy to send you another reed free of charge.
