Teacher Responsibilities:
Students and parents can expect me to be punctual and respectful in all aspects of my teaching and communication. Every student will receive my full attention and dedication to their progress, with individualized plans for each student. I will provide a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for music making.
Student Responsibilities:
The student will come to each lesson with all of their equipment and a willingness to learn. A prepared student has learned the technique of their assigned studies to the best of their ability and is able to have an opinion on musical gestures and ideas. The student will also bring with them to each lesson:
Bassoon
At least two working reeds
Pencil
All assigned music
Tuner
If the student needs assistance getting a working instrument, reeds, or other materials, please communicate this with me prior to lessons beginning.
